drawings from 2000
The drawings are often created in series and independently of the sculpture. The relationship between sculpture and drawing only arises during the work through mental cross-connections between the media: a line in the drawing can become a thread in space and vice versa. However, some motifs can only be implemented in two or three dimensions. In any case, this work means more than just a change of perspective between sculpture and drawing: the change of media not only sets a development process in motion, but also keeps it going.
